A Visit With CRAB
I had a little visit from #CRAB last week. No idea how she landed in my pool.
The week before one of the #oraclecards I pulled for guidance was EAGLE 🦅 with message of COMMUNION - reminding us that we are all connected and to sit quietly with plants and animals feeling the heartbeat that we all share and perhaps even communicate. So when I saw a CRAB sitting on the step of my pool, I took time to be with it and receive her message.
It was very special as we both sat very still looking at each other. After awhile I sat in a chair and just watched as the crab 🦀 made a sideway dash across the step, stopped and continued until it made its way out of the pool and over to a mat that is a picture of the beach.
I asked CRAB if she would like me to take her to the ocean and she easily let me lift her with a business card and be put in a bowl of salt pool water.
We continued to communicate as I carried the bowl walking four blocks to the beach where I let her back to the sand and the sea. It was wonderful experience and I am so grateful I took the time and space to be with it fully.
CRAB’S visit offered me much understanding for an issue I am working through, reminding me to look 👀 at solutions through different perspectives and that not all paths are linear.
CRAB reminds us all of the cyclical nature in our lives and to see what protection we may need for the path on we choose.
CRAB also reminded me of another #oraclecard I drew last week MAEVE - CYCLES AND RHYTHMS, “Honor the cycles of your body, energy levels, and cycles.”
In the days that followed and into this week, I was grateful for this reminder. I realized last year that in general I work in cycles, an my health has its own cycles, too. Learning to be in the flux and flow of these rhythms is so helpful in having more consistency in my health.
My visit with crab was yet another reminder to connect to lunar energy and medicine. Moon medicine, once again reinforcing the natural rhythms and cycles are normal and to pay more attention to my own.
“The psyches and souls of women also have their own cycles and seasons of doing and solitude, running and staying, being involved and being removed, questing and resting, creating and incubating, being of the world and returning to the soul-place.”
— CLARISSA PINKOLA ESTÉS
The crab is content to move with the natural cadence of the moon, the water, the land, and the perfect rhythm of nature. I think she came to remind me to do the same.
Are you needing this message, too?
